Welcome to the home page for the Friends of the Hill & Son Grand Organ, a painstakingly restored late 19th Century mechanical pipe organ housed in the Barossa Regional Gallery in Tanunda, South Australia.

The Friends of the Hill & Son Grand Organ are a group of like-minded music lovers who help to maintain, promote and contribute to the rediscovery of this great musical artefact. We hold concerts and events not only with the Hill & Son Grand Organ, but also across the many other beautiful pipe organs in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.

On these pages you can learn more about the Hill & Son Grand Organ and its restoration, and view a gallery of beautiful images alongside short clips of the organ in action. You can also find out about upcoming events being held by the Friends of the Hill & Son Grand Organ, as well as information about contacting us and becoming a member.

There’s lots happening at the Hill in 2018!

Our concert schedule for the first half of 2018 is out now, and it’s a bumper crop of great events for the whole family!

We’re heading back to the Baroque in March for Handel’s glorious oratorio work, ‘Messiah’, presented by the Adelaide Harmony Choir and accompanied by the beautiful Hill & Son Grand Organ.

Then, in May we are heading to the movies for a wonderful night of silent film accompanied by the Hill & Son Grand Organ. This event for SA History Month is sure to be a fabulous evening of amazing music and lots of laughs and smiles.

Take a look at our Events page to find out more! We look forward to seeing you at an event soon!
